GRAND RAPIDS ? US Signal is offering a 14-day no-obligation test drive of its vCloud-Powered Cloud Services to give customers the chance to create their own virtual compute environment.
US Signal?s trial offer includes your choice of either a fully dedicated or flexible group of resources. Either choice includes a secure 4MB access into the cloud. The promotion is good through June 30.
?It?s a chance for anyone to test drive our virtual infrastructure and try our service before they purchase it,? said Amanda Regnerus, US Signal Marketing Vice President. ?We give them a user name and password. We also give them two terabytes of storage and show them how easy it is to spin up virtual servers and create a virtual environment on VMWare.?

Regnerus said US Signal got into the cloud hosting service about two years ago. She said the promotion began in the first quarter and has been a very good sales tool for the staff. She said cloud hosting has become a significant part of US Signal?s business.
But she declined to say how big, provide any revenue or customer guidance or pricing after the 14-day trial period ends. She said the privately held company does not disclose financial or customer information.
