ANN ARBOR – Verizon Wireless has activated a new cell site in Ann Arbor that improves voice and data coverage in the northeast portion of Ann Arbor within a one-mile radius of the Plymouth Road and Nixon Road intersection.
The new cell site is equipped with a permanent backup generator for times of emergency. The company?s ongoing network investment in Michigan now totals more than $1.6 billion.
