DETROIT – Verizon Wireless has expanded its 4G LTE network to Montmorency and Otsego counties in Northern Michigan including the communities of Atlanta, Elmira, Gaylord, Hillman, Otsego Lake, and Vanderbilt.
The expansion also adds 4G LTE coverage along Michigan Road 32 from State Route 131 east to State Route 65 across both counties.
Verizon Wireless was the first national wireless provider in the United States to build and operate a large-scale 4G LTE network?the most advanced wireless network technology available, with speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G. Residents, business users and vacationers to Montmorency and Otsego counties can stream video with no buffering delays, share photos as they?re shot and download songs in seconds.
