DETROIT – Verizon Wireless has expanded its 4G LTE network to more of Branch, Hillsdale and Jackson counties including the communities of Bronson, Brooklyn, Coldwater, Hillsdale, Jonesville, Litchfield, Ransom, and Tekonsha.
The expansion also adds 4G LTE coverage along US 12 from the Michigan International Speedway to Bronson.
Verizon Wireless was the first national wireless provider in the United States to build and operate a large-scale 4G LTE network with speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G. Residents, business users and vacationers to Branch, Hillsdale, and Jackson counties can stream video with no buffering delays, share photos as they?re shot and download songs in seconds.
Verizon is in the final stages of building out its 4G LTE network in Michigan.
The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network reaches 298 million people across the country ? more than 95 percent of the U.S. population ? and is now available in 500 markets.
