Verizon Wireless Hosts PDA, Smartphone Workshops In Warren, Southfield

SOUTHFIELD – Verizon Wireless is offering free PDA and Smartphone workshops in Southfield and Warren area in March and April. Customers need to register in advance.

The classes, 20 Things Your PDA Can Do For You, have been offered so far in 33 cities in six states.

?The reaction from customers is outstanding,? said Earle Powers, data solutions director for Michigan/Indiana/Kentucky. ?People want hands-on advice, and that?s what they will get from our data experts who know the products inside and out.?

The in-store classes fill up quickly and seating is limited, Powers said. Some of the topics covered include text messaging, music synchronization, email and Internet browsing.

Classes will be held in Southfield on March 12, March 26, April 16 and April 30 from 11:30 a.m. ? 1 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Communications Store at 28117 Telegraph Rd. Classes in Warren will be held March 12, March 26, April 16 and April 30 from 11:30 a.m. ? 1 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Communications Store at 5745 Twelve Mile Rd. Refreshments will be served.
