MATTAWAN ? William Parfet, MPI Research Chairman and CEO, has been inducted into the Financial Executives International Hall of Fame.
Parfet founded MPI Research in 1995 and, under his leadership, the company has become one of the top CROs in the world. He has also held executive positions at Richard-Allan Medical and The Upjohn Company (now Pfizer), and currently serves as non-executive Chairman of Stryker Corporation. He is a board member of the following organizations: Monsanto Company, The Taubman Company, Lake Forest College (Chairman), Business Leaders for Michigan, and Southwest Michigan First (Chairman). Previously, he has served as Trustee for the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF), which oversees the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB). He was also a member of the Emerging Issues Task Force (EITF). Additionally, Parfet served as the National Chairman of Financial Executives Institute (now Financial Executives International).
