DETROIT – M2 TechCast went to the North American International Cyber Summit on Oct. 17 to interview cybersecurity experts. One of those folks at the conference was Linda Marshall who spent decades in executive-level positions streamlining call centers and customer service at Sprint Nextel and Verizon Wireless, as well as a stint as president of GM’s OnStar.
Today, she said, your phone is a smartphone, a hand-held computer that stories passwords, links and much more. There are security issues that need to be protect on these smartphones. We’re not serving consumers anymore, but protecting systems, Marshall said.
