ANN ARBOR – Cyber Patriot is a national program aimed at teaching young people and older people how to surf safely on the Internet. Tamara Shoemaker, founder of the Michigan chapter talks about the program and about her new book she co-authored that provides a manual for grade-school teachers to easily provides this knowledge to students k-12.

But Cyber Patriot also can be used to teach older adults who are not computer savvy how to stay out of harm’s way that can be caused by cyber criminals on line.
