TROY – Join Automation Alley for the official launch of the National Association of Manufacturers’ 2018 State of Manufacturing Tour. State and local manufacturers, business leaders and students will join NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons as he delivers the NAM State of Manufacturing address.
The NAM’s annual tour has become the flagship event for the nation’s largest industrial trade association. This year’s tour will focus on inspiring a new generation of modern manufacturing talent and showcasing how new technologies, including automation, are driving job creation. Timmons will discuss how policymakers can build on the momentum of tax reform and other key steps of progress to lift up more Americans as manufacturers prepare to fill millions of high-tech, rewarding jobs and continue advancing a rapid pace of innovation.
