Four innovators with Northern Michigan roots will share their ideas in the hopes to make crucial
collaborations and possibly win the $500 prize sponsored by Cambium Analytica. They all hail from a
variety of industries such as aerospace tech, a food-delivery platform, patented concept in education
tech and a new product in the Realestate App space. In addition to their connections to the area, they
all want to connect with the TCNewTech audience which is made up of technology-minded people and
consists of programmers, investors, mentors, people hiring or looking to get hired, and tech geeks that
just like learning about new things.
Here is the final lineup:
1. Troy Morris will present Kall Morris, Inc, a company focused on efficiently removing and
repurposing orbital debris for commercial and government customers. They do this with
proprietary AI/ML software for debris characterization, exclusive and tested hardware for debris
capture. Business model is built around debris recycling and repurposing in orbit.
2. Bryan Lendzion will present Subleasify, a web-based sublet service that solves a two-sided
marketplace problem. The platform works as an intermediary, combining property managers
and tenants to make the sublet process simple and convenient. Often, tenants aren’t offered a
sublet policy, and if they are, it usually requires the inconvenience of time, paperwork, and
expensive fees. Property managers don’t want to offer a sublet policy because they would take
on these burdens. The platform provides property managers a financial incentive through sublet
fees and a free, easy-to-use sublet platform that handles the responsibility of subletting for them
and their tenants. This platform is less expensive for tenants and more profitable for property
managers while erasing the burdens in this two-sided marketplace.
3. Broc Crandall will present Stocked, a new grocery delivery company which was started right in
Northern Michigan. They provide home deliveries and have partnered with several
airbnb/vacation rental hosts to stock their properties, refrigerators, and pantries with amazing
surprises, prior to guest arrivals. Stocked is a multi vendor marketplace online, so when people
shop on their site they are shopping from local stores right in Northern Michigan.
4. Beau Parmenter will be discussing their patented concept, facilitates learning by merging text and
music or musical compositions. A device receives selected text and a selected musical composition.
Splitting the selected musical composition into components and creating a blueprint of the selected
musical compositions. The selected text is transformed into phoneme representations which merge the
blueprint and the transformed text. Thus, output a merged song.
In addition to a full list of entrepreneurs, we will hear updates from Eric Roberts who will be giving a
20Fathoms Update, and Camille Hoisington who will be giving Michigan’s Creative Coast update..
