DETROIT – Comcast is providing free access to its Xfinity public Wi-Fi hot spots on Cyber Monday Nov. 28 starting at 6 am for 24 hours.
Xfinity WiFi hotspots are available on train platforms, in small businesses, parks and shopping districts. Many of the places consumers will be searching for those Cyber Monday deals. To log in to Xfinity WiFi, simply click on the “xfinitywifi” network ID from the list of available networks on your device, sign in and enjoy. Have a happy and safe holiday season, Comcast said in a press release.
According to The National Retail Federation, 36 percent of consumers plan to take advantage of Cyber Monday deals this year. Many bargain-hunters will be away from their homes, as they travel to and from work, running errands around town or visiting family and friends. So Comcast is playing Santa on Cyber Monday to help.
