AUBURN HILLS – Michigan’s Cyber Range, hosted by Merit Network, will have a new hub added on March 18 at the Macomb-Oakland University INCubator at the Velocity Center.

The Michigan Cyber Range Prepares Cybersecurity Professionals to Detect, Prevent and Mitigate Cyber Attacks. The Range is an unclassified private cloud operated by Merit Network in Ann Arbor, where the primary nexus is located. The Range delivers cybersecurity classes and exercises and lets lets companies develop products, as well as test them, in a real-world digital environment that is disconnected from the Internet. The Range is used by Merit members across the nation and throughout the world.

On March 18, the first Range hub outside of Arbor will get a celebratory launch attended by a who’s who of Michigan government and military leaders.
