WASHINGTON DC – As the US confirms it’s tracking more than 650 potential UFOs the Pentagon has shared footage of a floating metal sphere which has been “seen for years” in the skies over the Middle East.
A Pentagon official confirmed the tracking of potential UFOs on Wednesday, April 19, in an appearance before a subcommittee of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the Defense Department’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, said the sightings are concentrated off both the East and West Coast of the US, as well as the Middle East and part of the South China Sea.
Now, a declassified video recorded by a US Reaper drone has shown a strange spherical object zipping in and out of frame.
US officials will not say exactly where the footage, from July 12, 2022, was shot, beside the general Middle East area. They have also admitted they do not know what the object was or where it came from.
The now-declassified footage was shot from an American MQ-9 Reaper drone, and appears to be monitoring a group of people in a desert.
But just seconds into the footage, a flying orb can be seen hurtling toward the drone, passing underneath at high speed.
The drone’s hi-tech camera picks up the movement, switching targets from the group and beginning to follow the strange globe.
