GRAND RAPIDS – West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum will again honor local organizations and professionals at The Third Annual Triple Bottom Line Bash on October 12.

A sell-out in its first two years, the event has become the signature function for local sustainable business professionals in West Michigan.  This year’s edition features our annual awards, dinner from Kangaroo Kitchen, bar from Brewery Vivant and others, prizes and a sustainability-themed entertainment program from The Funny Girls: HALLOWGREEN!

The 2016 West Michigan Sustainable Business of the Year Award recognizes the organization that has best modeled triple bottom line sustainability in West Michigan, or has had the greatest impact in promoting sustainable business practices in the region.

Celebrate with this year’s nominees: Amway, Aquinas College, Catalyst Partners,
City of Grand Rapids, Disher Design & Development, Grand Valley State University, Herman Miller, Kent County Department of Public Works, and Rockford Construction.  Vote here.

Two other organizations will receive special recognitions at the event: Barfly Ventures and Steelcase.

The West Michigan Sustainable Business Hall of Fame honors individual practitioners that have made the greatest contribution to sustainable business in West Michigan in their careers to date. The 2016 class honors Guy Bazzani, Gayle DeBruyn, and Deb Steketee. Plus Future Hall of Famer Eric Saigeon.
