ROYAL OAK – Delphi, a global automotive manufacturing company, won the Microsoft Ignite 2016 Mealogix MetroHero Award, in the Migration category, with the assistance of the C/D/H team.
Delphi set almost unachievable goals that most organizations would have said were not feasible, possible, or attainable. Put quite simply, a pipe dream. That didn’t deter Delphi from moving forward, with the assistance of Steve Smith and Jerry Dwinell of C/D/H as the primary professional services provider, and with Concept Searching as the technology software provider that provided multi-term metadata generation, auto-classification, taxonomy management, and hybrid search improvements through conceptClassifier for Office 365 and conceptClassifier for Hybrid Search.

The team from C/D/H provided the knowledge, planning, optimization, and ingenuity, using on-premises Search 2013, which searches over 30 content sources. Concept Searching’s conceptClassifier for Office 365 platform was used in the Azure environment, to combine both internal and external sources.
Microsoft’s Office 365 Hybrid Search and Concept Searching’s new utility, conceptClassifier for Hybrid Search, were deployed for over 40,000 users. Over 19 million documents were migrated using conceptClassifier for Office 365, allowing Delphi to decommission their 50 plus server on-premises search environment.
