FERNDALE – Merit Network President Joe Sawasky provides a preview of the Merit 50th Anniversary Party May 11-12 at the Eagle Crest Hotel in Ypsilanti. Merit Network was created in 1966 by the University of Michigan, Michigan State University and Wayne State University to connect all public universities and nearly 400 other education and non-profit organizations in every corner of the state with advanced high speed fiber optic service. Also on the show was Joe Adams, Director of the Michigan Cyber Range and Merit’s Vice President for Research and Cyber Security.
