ROYAL OAK – Keith Brophy, state director of the Michigan Small Business Development Centers, and Angela Kujuva, Director of Innovation, Logic Solutions, discuss the Mobile App Bootcamp for Non-Tech Entrepreneurs that was held last week at Washtenaw Community College, the third one this year in the state. It was aimed at entrepreneurs and small business owners who have an idea for mobile technology devices or apps, but don’t know where to get started or how to work with a technology partner.
The Michigan SBDC provides counseling, training and research to assist small business to launch, grow, transition and innovate. The Michigan SBDC enhances Michigan’s economic wellbeing by providing counseling, training and research for new ventures, existing small businesses and advanced technology companies. With our headquarters at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, 11 regional offices and more than 20 satellite offices, we provide entrepreneurs and business owners with convenient access to counseling and training throughout Michigan.
Logic Solutions was founded in 1995 with a focus on custom web applications. It develops web-based applications, websites, and mobile apps for over 2000 clients ranging from automotive OEMs, universities, industry consortiums, Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, healthcare corporations, and software firms. Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Logic has 150 employees globally. About 50 are located in the United States, and the other 100 overseas.
