GRAND RAPIDS – The training required for the future workforce in the automotive industry to support the convergence of technologies needs to begin before students even enter the workforce. The students of today think of the automotive industry like it was when their parents worked there. Getting younger students involved – not just college students – by making it interactive and fun while educating them about the technology and opportunities available to work in this field is going to be critically important. Only through dedicated partnerships, such as those with ITS America, Square One and Mobile Comply, are we able to increase the visibility of intelligent transportation and promote mobility nationwide.
Host Melissa Birnie interviews Elaina Farnsworth, CEO of Mobile Comply, a Michigan-based, woman-owned firm, recognized Internationally as a training company specializing in connected and autonomous vehicles and automotive cybersecurity. They discussed the up-coming ITS event in San Jose on June 13, where Mobile Comply will be partnering with Square One to showcase V2X lab (led by Michigan students) as well as the Connected Vehicle Certification curriculum for students and teachers.
If you love cars or just curious about what is ahead for the automotive industry, this show is for you!
