ANN ARBOR – Ann Arbor SPARK and its partners received a maximum award of $3 million from the Small Business Support Hubs program to provide financial assistance to small businesses and startups.

SPARK’s partners include the Howell Chamber of Commerce, Jewish Family Services, Launch 734 from Monroe County Business Alliance, the Michigan SBDC Greater Washtenaw Region, the Michigan SBDC’s Uplift Michigan Business Development Program, and the Washtenaw Community College Entrepreneurship Center.

Ann Arbor SPARK will provide centralized administration of the grant, enabling strategic partners to focus on the rapid deployment of programming and services.

Bill Mayer from SPARK joins Matt Roush and Mike Brennan on MITechTV to talk about how small businesses can get some funding from that grant.
