SOUTHFIELD – Kathleen Norton-Schock returns for her monthly update of events and happenings with the Michigan Council of Women in Technology. Her big news this month is a new MCWT Executive Director, Orletta Caldwell who replaces Chris Rydzewski who is transitioning to the role of development director, working closely with existing and new partners and strategic alliances to further build the organization.
MCWT also is hosting on Thursday May 11 its Executive Connection Summit at Suburban Showplace in Novi. The event is about connecting technology leaders across Michigan. It’s about sharing how Michigan technology executives are shaping current and future industries. It’s about how technology is solving problems in our state and our local communities. It’s about building energy for and celebrating how technology leaders in Michigan are having an impact on a larger global scale.
This year’s theme is “Be the change …. Find the ‘yes’ in you!’”
