ANN ARBOR – Former Gov. Rick Snyder joins MITech TV to provide details on a recent announcement that partners his fractional cybersecurity company, SensCy, with Automation Alley and Oakland University to create a cybersecurity research and development as well as training center.

Other partners includes Fraunhofer USA, and GRIMM Cyber. The center is funded by a $2 million grant from US Department of Energy’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response.

The team will focus on R&D and insights that will result in capabilities that reduce the risk of power disruption from a cyber-incident for energy delivery systems, and education that enables cybersecurity by design in the energy sector.
