LANSING – The State of Michigan hosted a two-day cyber summit in mid October that featured top cybersecurity officials, including Jason Cavendish, Michigan’s chief security officer.

His duties include both cyber and physical security.

He also noted that each day the state gets about 90 million cyber hack attempts from nation states and criminal enterprises, all of which are thwarted.
