TROY – BullsEye Telecom will be supporting Mitch Albom’s S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon on Dec. 10 by providing a virtual call center onsite at The Somerset Collection to help Albom raise money for his charity.
In its second year of supporting S.A.Y. Detroit, BullsEye helped raise more than $814,000 in 2014, an increase of more than 100 percent from 2013.
“It’s a way for us to showcase our technology locally and show potential business clients how we can set something up fast and have it work with great results,” said Tim Basa, BullsEye Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Basa will lead a team of engineers and experts to setup the call center on December 9, the night before the Radiothon begins on Dec. 10. What’s more, 15 Bullseye employees have volunteered to answer phones.
“We got involved last year with Mitch’s charity through Mousetrap Mobile in Royal Oak,” Basa said. “We had a pre-existing relationship with them. We met Mitch and got excited about the possibility of providing our technology to help facilitate his needs.”
Bullseye provides voice and data telecommunications services, including cloud-based VoIP services.
“We can turn on a call center very quickly,” Basa said. “All the technology stays in the cloud. We manage it remotely. Our techs use headsets to connect with callers. There are no busy signals. And any calls that are dropped, we can call them back right away. Or we can help them make a donation more efficiently by driving them to the website.”
Typical BullsEye customers have 25 or more locations across a broad geographic area. For instance, Domino’s Pizza is a major Michigan customer, he said. BullsEye’s mantra is to consolidate, optimize, contains costs and evolve the communications platform with the client.
“We eliminate the confusion, hassle and high costs associated with managing phones and Internet in multiple locations, Basa said.
