DETROIT – AT&T and Samsung Electronics America on June 10 will offer customers a water- and shatter-resistant Samsung Galaxy S7 active, and also will throw in the Samsung Gear S2, the first smartwatch with NumberSync, for free.
Beginning on Friday, you can purchase the Galaxy S7 active at www.att.com/galaxys7active or at AT&T stores. You can purchase the new Samsung Galaxy S7 active on AT&T Next at $26.50 for 30 months or AT&T Next Every Year at $33.13 a month for 24 months when you have eligible service. It is offered in Sandy Gold, Titanium Gray, and Camo Green.
“The Galaxy S7 active represents Samsung’s ongoing commitment to listening to customers and delivering on meaningful innovation that fits their needs,” said Tim Baxter, President, Samsung Electronics America. “We are excited to be working with AT&T to introduce a device that sets a high bar on what it means to combine elegance with toughness, and gives customers a durable smartphone built for their active lifestyle.”
With a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy S7 active lets you watch vivid, clear video. The phone’s 4,000mAh battery is the largest of any Galaxy S device, providing up to 32 hours of talk time, and can fully charge in less than two hours.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 active has all the premium features of the Galaxy S7 series including a 12 megapixel rear facing camera with Dual Pixel technology, fingerprint sensor5, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor. Additionally, the Galaxy S7 active has 32GB of internal storage6 with a microSD slot for up to 200GB of additional storage (sold separately).
The Galaxy S7 active includes KNOX, Samsung’s defense-grade mobile security platform, implemented at the chip level so your device is highly secure from the moment it boots up.
