WARREN – The U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center will host its annual Industry Days April 26-27 at the John Lewis Conference Center at Macomb Community College to offer a look ahead at the Army automotive R&D center’s ongoing plans, projects and needs.

Included in the information offering are presentations describing the technology roadmaps from TARDEC’s various engineering centers, planned spending and the opportunities for collaboration open to industry, academia and other government partners.

The two-day event also affords attendees the opportunity to sit one-on-one with TARDEC technical leaders from across the center’s R&D spectrum.

“TARDEC’s Industry Days is designed and executed to develop a knowledge base among potential collaborative partners about our goals, plans, budgets and gaps,” says Stephen Olevnik, a member of TARDEC’s External Business Office and event organizer.  “This leads to more meaningful, focused discussions and helps us get the best and most innovative solutions from the marketplace into the military at the best time.”

Recently, the Industry Days events have attracted more than 300 members of the automotive and defense industries.
