FERNDALE – Cyber Security and Drones will be the focus on M2 (Squared) TechCast on Monday March 21 at 3 pm on the PodcastDetroit Network. Chinese hackers moving into ransomeware plus data breach digest from Verizon – both paint scary scenarios.

At 3 pm Dronelaw pro Enrico Schaefer will discuss proposed legislation in the U.S. Senate that would take a new approach to drone regulation, and why this uncertainty has had a negative impact on drone integration in the United States.

At 3:15 pm cyber security experts Richard Stiennon and Dan Lohrmann will discuss how Chinese operatives are moving from espionage to ransomeware and its ramifications. Stiennon and Lohrmann also will analyze two studies: The first report from the Governing Institute was sponsored by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and AT&T, and covers the intriguing results of a state government legislative survey on cyber. The second reports offers a “Data Breach Digest” from Verizon which elaborates on 18 different data breach scenarios worth considering. Both reports are free and bring excellent recommendations and worthwhile opportunities.
