FERNDALE – Comcast has several new project that we’ll be implementing and introducing over the next year, particularly in the city of Detroit. Michelle Gilbert joins M2 TechCast to talk about how Comcast will invest $3 million to build fiber throughout Midtown and Downtown; Roll out a service on its existing hybrid fiber/coax network that will provide 1 Gigabit speeds to virtually every household within our coverage area; expand its Wi-Fi network to several popular outdoor hotspots in Detroit, and; open a new XFINITY store and office space in Midtown.
