ROYAL OAK – Sibrina Nichelle Collins, executive director of Lawrence Tech University’s Marburger STEM Center talks about reaching out to attract more students to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The shortage of STEM talent has reached a critical state in Michigan.

More recently, the STEM center hosted the boy scouts and cub scouts to show them what careers in STEM could hold for them. The STEM center also has brought in middle school students from Detroit. Plus LTU is hosting a summer camp to introduce middle school girls to STEM.
